GP Biosciences evolved as a leading edge lectin microarray company by taking over the business rights of Glycomics Research laboratory, Moritex Corporation, which was a pioneer in glycan profling technology in Japan, and by obtaining a license of their patents from Procognia which has the HQ in Israel . Procognia Japan will be merged into GP Biosciences in March.
